Incident Reported in Williams County

 

BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota Oil and Gas Division was notified of a tank fire occurring Friday, November 29 at the Go Ron Anderson 157-97-13H-1 well, about 6.8 miles north of Ray, North Dakota.

HESS BAKKEN INVESTMENTS II, LLC reported Saturday that 420 barrels of crude oil and 60 barrels of produced water were released on location from a fire. At the time of reporting 3 barrels of crude oil and 3 barrels of produced water had been recovered.

A North Dakota Oil and Gas inspector has been to location and will monitor the investigation and remediation.
