Incident Reported in Williams County
BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota Oil and Gas Division was notified of an oil spill occurring Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the PANKOWSKI SWD 1 well, Northwest of Epping, North Dakota.
Tallgrass Water North Dakota, LLC reported Thursday, September 7, 2023, that 2,490 barrels of brine and 10 barrels of oil were released. At the time of reporting, 2,489 barrels of brine and 9.9 of oil had been recovered. All products released were contained within the location.
A North Dakota Oil and Gas inspector has been to location and will monitor the remediation.
